SUMMARY:Junk Journals from Golden Books
DESCRIPTION:Make your own junk journal from gently deconstructing a Golden Book. \nSaturday\, November 1\n10 am to 2 pm \nSandy Barber will lead this class in: \n\ndeconstructing a Golden Book\nmaking a new spine\nadding additional papers & keeping the original storybook pages\njournal will have 2 or 3 signatures\nsewing the signatures into the book\ncovering the spine with fabric and ribbon\nIF time allows\, participants can begin working/creating/filling in their new journal\n\nSupplies: \n\nAll supplies will be provided.\nWe will have a variety of Golden books to choose from.  When you register\, you can request a particular book\, however\, we cannot promise we will have it.\nWe will also have a variety of papers\, stamps\, stickers\, etc. to use and choose from.\nYou are welcome to bring your own Golden Book to use for this project.\nYou are welcome to bring some of your own papers\, fabric\, ribbons\, etc.\n\nCost: \n\nMembers – $35\nNon-Members – $45\n\nDeadline to Register: Noon on October 25 \nQuestions?\nPlease reach out to Sandy if you have questions about this class – (903) 640-2196 or director@creativeartscenterbonham.org. \nTo register and see example photos\, go to: Junk Journals from Golden Books – Creative Arts Center
