DESCRIPTION:Volunteers Needed at the Creative Arts Center! \nThe Creative Arts Center in Bonham has several volunteer opportunities available. \nThe Center will be hosting a Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday\, April 3 at 5:30 pm.  Prospective volunteers will learn about the various volunteer opportunities available at the center\, including helping with the upcoming Red River Arts Fest on Saturday\, May 4.  All are welcome to attend this meeting at the Center at 200 W. 5th in Bonham. \nThe Center also has scheduled two upcoming Saturday workdays on April 6 and 13 from 8 am to noon.  Volunteers are needed to help indoors and outside.  Tasks will include\, but are not limited to pulling weeds\, planting flowers\, putting out mulch\, power washing\, other yard work\, deep cleaning and organizing inside\, assembling two new shelves\, etc.  Volunteers are asked to register so that organizers can make the necessary preparations.  Volunteers are also encouraged to bring work gloves and tools. \nMore information and volunteer registration for the workdays are available at www.CreativeArtsCenterBonham.org.  For questions\, call (903) 640-2196.

DESCRIPTION:Red River Arts Fest is back on May 4! \nThe Creative Arts Center in Bonham is excited to announce that the Red River Arts Fest is coming back on Saturday\, May 4.  Organizers are planning a full day of art\, wine\, music and fun. \nShopping with art vendors and fun art activities for kids and adults will take place from 10 am to 4 pm.  Music in the garden will be from 10 am to 6 pm. \nThe center is currently seeking art\, wine and food vendors.  There will be a limited number of art vendor spaces inside the center and more spaces outside under the large tent that will be set up in the parking lot.  The center is also seeking a limited number of food trucks and wine vendors.  Vendor information and registration is available on the center’s website. \nSponsorships are also available.  Local businesses and other patron of the arts are encouraged to become sponsors to help make this event possible.  Proceeds from this event will also support and sustain the center’s mission year round of promoting the arts in Fannin County.  Sponsorship information is also available on the center’s website or by contacting the center’s Director. \nFor more information\, go to www.CreativeArtsCenterBonham.org or call (903) 640-2196.
