DESCRIPTION:Beginner Belly Dance Workshop\nSaturday\, May 31\n10 am to noon\nCreative Arts Center\n200 W 5th in Bonham\n$30 for Members\n$36 for Non-Members\nWorkshop description:\nYou want to try belly dancing\, but you don’t know where to start. Your weeknights are too hectic to join a class. When you try a Youtube/Tik Tok lesson\, you’re not sure if you’ve got it and you’d really like some feedback. A one-day\, beginner belly dance workshop is the taste of belly dance you’ve been looking for! We will work through a sampler platter of belly dance moves\, work up a sweat and have lots of fun! If you’re new to belly dance\, this will be an introduction to basic moves. If you’ve taken classes before\, this will be a chance to hone your technique with lots of repetition. We will finish with combinations that build to a short choreography. Come show your dance skills or simply “follow the bouncing butt” to some uplifting beats. Jump in and dance with us!\nWhat should you wear?\nRegular workout gear! Comfortable shoes\, leggings or yoga pants and tanks or T-shirts are welcome.
