SUMMARY:Music in the Garden - Spring Series 2025
DESCRIPTION:Each week the garden gates behind the Creative Arts Center will open at 6:30 pm for the Spring series of Music in the Garden.  Shows will start at 7:00 pm. $5 cover fee per person.  We will accept cash and cards at the gate.  Guests can also purchase their tickets ahead of time online at the center’s website in order to breeze through the line. Family friendly event.  Bring lawn chairs or blankets.  Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and food\, including adult beverages.  The Center is located at 200 W. 5th in Bonham.  For tickets and more information\, visit www.CreativeArtsCenterBonham.org.\n\nThe Creative Arts Center is pleased to offer another spring series of Music in the Garden\, starting April 3.  There will be five outdoor concerts in all\, open to the public on Thursday nights at 7 pm. New this year\, there will be a $5 cover charge to help off set the costs of the bands. \n\nThe Buzz Andrews Band will kick the series off\, on April 3.  Buzz has been playing all over North Texas for over 20 years. From Johnny Cash to Merle to Sting to Grand Funk Railroad to Clapton – no one does it better!  He and his band will entertain your socks off and send you home with a huge grin.\n\nOn April 10\, the center is pleased to welcome Mark Lafon and Ariana Ortiz to our garden stage. These two are more than just artists\, their songwriting skills are an impressive combination of awesome melodies and meaningful lyrics that come from life’s wisdom. Their original songs\, along with some truly amazing guitar playing – you can expect a serious throwdown in the garden.\n\nOn April 17\, the Center is excited to welcome back the talented Michael Tuck.   If you caught his show last year at the Arts Center\, you already know why he was asked back so soon. Michael plays lead guitar with Pat Green by day\, and then does a Clark Kent/Superman switcheroo\, and really is one of the finest chicken pickin’ guitar players you will hear. He excels in every style\, but his chicken pickin’ guitar is one of the most impressive. It’s a show you don’t want to miss!\n\nOn April 24\, the band called 78 Live will be playing on the garden stage. These are great friends of the Arts Center that play all over the Texoma region. They bring a ton of talent and fun to the stage\, and they play a great mix of originals and cover tunes.\n\nThe Uptown Drifters will be closing out our fall concert series on May 1 with their special brand of Texas Swing.  There is something real cool about Texas Swing and The Uptown Drifters will absolutely blow the roof off. Come early to check out the new artwork for the May show. Art show opening will be come and go from 5-7 pm inside the Art Center (free admission).  Credit Union of Texas will have their food truck here in our parking lot\, serving up free tacos from 5:00 – 7:30 pm.
