DESCRIPTION:Join us for a short birding hike on the Lake Loop Trail! \n\nDuring this program\, you’ll be able to follow our ranger on a birding hike! Our ranger will be using the Merlin Birding App on the trail to identify birds. Downloading the app is not required for the program\, but is recommended for the best experience possible!\nMake sure to wear good closed-toed shoes with a grip\, as the Lake Loop Trail can be muddy at times!\n\nWhere: Meet at the flagpole at headquarters. \nAccessibility for this event: \n*Call the park for information about this park’s accessible facilities* \nCost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $4 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Parks Pass. No need to register\, just show up! \n*Events and programs are subject to cancellation due to weather; if cancelled\, an update will be made to this posting.
