Dust Bowl Cooking

Join Ranger Linda on a cooking adventure and learn a new cooking technique, pre-dating modern backpack stoves.
Desperate conditions create innovative solutions. In the 1930’s, farms and livelihoods were lost. People were homeless and on the move. From cast off trash, hobo stoves were created.
Look in the Day Use area at 10:00 AM for this unique demonstration and hands-on workshop.
