Annual Awards Banquet

Save the date for the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet to be held on February 28, 2026 at the Fannin County Multi-Purpose Complex! This year’s theme is “Prom through the Decades”, and attendees are encouraged to step back in time and dress to match the theme presented by the Banquet Committee.
 
 
Doors will open at 5:30pm with the program to begin at 6:00pm. The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres from Belle Rae’s Cafe and both a Live & Silent Auction full of fabulous items & experience packages.
 
 
The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of awards to businesses & citizens that showed outstanding leadership, growth and service to the community in 2025. Nominations for the seven prestigious awards have been submitted by members of the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce, with the top three in each category being recognized for their contributions to Bonham and Fannin County.
 
 
 
Tickets for the evening may be purchased in advance through the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce office, and a limited number of tickets may be available for purchase at the door. Sponsor a table for 8 guests for $600 and receive recognition at the event, a complimentary bottle of wine, and 8 glasses. Individual tickets are available for $50 per person. Water, tea and coffee will be served, and wine will be available for purchase from Neighbors Place Winery on site.
Voting privileges are reserved for members of the Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce, and are limited to one ballot per person.

Business of the Year: Bonham Floral & Greenhouse, First United Bank, Neighbors Place Winery, Stay Grounded, Vector Systems

Nonprofit of the Year: Community Well Texas, Creative Arts Center, Fannin County Museum of History, Feeding Fannin, Open Arms Shelter

Agriculturalist of the Year: John Baecht, Bois d’Arc Kingdom; Cody Maxwell, Agrilife Extension Agent

Volunteer of the Year: Cindy Godbey, Dustin Divinia, Millie Smith, Renae Bridges, Tom Thornton

Public Servant of the Year: Alan McDonald, BEDCO Board President; Alicia Whipple, Fannin County Auditor; H Compton, Former Mayor of Bonham; Mark Posey, BEDCO Downtown Development; Captain Melanie Elliott, Bonham Police

Citizen of the Year: David Keene, Ernie Quintana, Jacqueline Gore, Mallory McBroom, Mark Posey, Tere Curtis

The Legacy Award: John Farris, Judy Teller, Ronnie Hill, Warren Jamieson
